Improving and developing the InterContinental Taif Hotel
🏗️ InterContinental Taif Hotel Development Project
Kholoud Contracting Company takes great pride in its active participation in the development and modernization of the InterContinental Hotel in Taif, one of the region’s most prominent hospitality projects.
This project was commissioned by the Ministry of Finance of Saudi Arabia, with a total value of SAR 39,278,320.
Scope of Work Executed:
🧱 1. Structural Works (Reinforced Concrete Framework)

Casting of 12,500 m³ of reinforced concrete for foundations, columns, and slabs.

Construction of load-bearing and partition walls with a total area of 18,000 m².
🧱 2. Masonry and Finishing Works

Utilization of over 850,000 cement blocks for construction.

Installation of 32,000 m² of modern glass and aluminum facades.

Finishing of hotel units over a total area of 25,000 m².
⚙️ 3. Installations and Fit-Out

Laying of 85 kilometers of electrical and lighting cables.

Installation of central air conditioning systems with a total capacity of 3,500 TR (Tons of Refrigeration).

Fit-out of 650 fully equipped hotel units to the highest standards.

At Kholoud, we are proud to have contributed to the successful delivery of this flagship hospitality project, which played a key role in enhancing the standard of tourism and hotel services in the blessed city of Taif, while supporting the Kingdom’s vision for internal tourism development in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
